VFR800 Posted October 14, 2020 Report Share Posted October 14, 2020 Some background info - The year was 1937 and during the winter months at Suttons Beach, Keith Cadwell offered people joy rides in his Cutty Sark VH-UNV amphibious plane for 10/- ($1) a ride. Even though it was very popular along with donkey rides,he was unable to make a profit. Keith sold the Cutty Sark in late 1937 to Qantas Empire Airways in Brisbane. 3 Quote Link to comment
