Z-train Posted April 3, 2019 Report Share Posted April 3, 2019 I met a guy named "Al" last Saturday. He's 94. He was a ball turret gunner on a B-17 in the Bloody 100th bomb group. He was 5'10". Which meant his knees were at his shoulders while in the bubble. He flew THIRTY-FIVE missions. One of them was to Caan on June 6th , 1944. It was a good day. 1 Quote Link to comment
