Chopper Jim
A piece of history is coming to Kingman Airport this weekend. A B-17 Flying Fortress for tours & flight rides. This is 1 of 4 that remain airworthy. The last time Kingman had a B-17 was the early 90's. 1 Quote Link to comment
flyerdan
That would be the Experimental Aircraft Association's Aluminum Overcast, They make the rounds every year keeping the mystique alive. I'm right on the run between KSLE and KMMV so I've gotten some good pics of 19N when she flew overhead on the way back from the revenue runs. Listen on the handheld for them to report 10 miles out and be ready with the camera. They are restoring the 17 that Art Lacey had at the restaurant in Milwaukie back to flying condition, will be good to have another one in the mix. 1 Quote Link to comment
