MikeRL411
What? The flying tigers, the hell's angels, and I honestly forget the third squadron, were the original AVF [American Volunteer Force] flyers for the National Chinese [Chiang Kai Chek] against the Japanese invaders [they got cash bonuses for every Japanese aircraft destroyed]. Later intregrated into the US Army Air Force once the USA formally entered WW2. The "Real" hell's angels insignia had the "angel" stradling the bomb. The motor cycle Hell's Angels evolved from a group of the original AVF who were motorcycle fans. Then s++t happened. 2 Quote Link to comment

I know that, but, how does it relate to the B-17 Hell's Angels and then the Bomb Group adopting the logo as theirs? The long standing story was that one of the Bomber crew members started the HA MC, but that is not true. The AVG had the "Adam and Eves" "The Panda Bears" and "Hell's Angels" Quote Link to comment
Profile
Flying Tigers never had the USA markings plus this was before the war and the markings would have had I red dot in its center. As soon as the war started the red dot was removed and remains that way today. Only difference is the color now. Quote Link to comment
