Bill Cosby never actually tried to buy my sweater, but he used to fly in to our facility in Houston on  a regular basis. He is a really nice person. In my business we deal with celebrities on a regular basis. We treat them like the rest of our customers, which is first class. They fly private because they don't want to be mobbed in the terminal. Most are regular people have become famous, and some are complete Assholes.

I have not flown in a while now, back then I only had 2 Datsuns and they both were drivers, not builds.

When I was flying, I only flew my designs except for copies of real airplanes, and they were flown carefully, I still have them to this day, but all but one of my home builds are gone/wrecked, I was hard on them and flew in a 50 foot box most the time, like an angry bee, and I was upside down 90 percent of the time,

Here is the one that has spent most it's life upside down.

I actually flew this thing for a while till I forgot which side was up, normally black is on the bottom, but not this one, and it got me.

That is AWESOME! I have always wanted to do a fully symmetrical plane with gear on top and bottom but I know I would wreck it. What the hell, You inspired me to build one! As soon as I finish the 1200 Sedan.

Keep in mind that you will wreck it, so if you build it, do not get attached to it.

I landed mine upside down all the time, it got to the point that no one even payed attention anymore, but if they only knew how many times I almost screwed up, they would have not taken their eyes off it.

If your used to a color being on the bottom, make sure you don't change that, that plane of mine ended up with black on the top, and it got me, as I was used to black on the bottom, and it hit the ground after a twisting roll and I stopped upside down instead of right side up and I pulled on the stick, it was over in less than a second as I was 20 feet off the ground.

Old White 510..Martin mars in the back ground

Nice 510! Where was this pic taken? I have seen that plane in the background, but I can't remember where. Aside from the DC3,which you know is my favorite, I also had a model of a B17,& a model of one of these planes, a PB (something) Catalina. Dream plane #2! I have heard stories that there is one in pieces at the Aurora Airport, but I haven't been able to confirm them.I would love to go on a flight in one someday, as well as in a B17, but especially in a DC3.
