fisch
Save for a e9 If you can find one. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/5583688227.html http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-3-0-/222036494443?forcerrptr=true&hash=item33b268086b:g:ccwAAOSw6BdXMKNz&item=222036494443 Sorry for the highjack. Agreed and double sorry for the hijack, but more reason to get back on this killer build! THe E9, man, that is a car I'd give up one of my 510s for. (But even if I gave up all 3, and my '59, I couldn't afford an E9!) Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
E9s are cool but I have a thing for 4 doors. /threadjack Quote Link to comment
DaBlist
This is the third support for under the radiator I made. The first was 1/2" tubing and would been fine for keeping the lower valance from flapping in the wind but I decided to go with something that would offer some protection. The second one was with angle iron and looked like it was made by a blacksmith. 2 Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
C20 Long box - why $1400, nobody wants them I would LOVE to have that one... Had a '65 C10 Custom Cab (283/powergilde) long bed in high school. Been looking for another 64-66 off and on since. Keep passing them up because I want a nice patina. Like the one you have. DaBlist
Most these trucks around here in that price range are bomb canned primer gray or flat black with a sheet of plywood for a bed floor. I only went to look at it because original paint. Bought it without even starting it because it had the look I wanted and I knew mechanical's would be easy. All gauges, heater, wipers, lights work and bed wood has been re-done. It's a sister to the one I learned to drive in with a 292 and Granny 4spd. 3 Quote Link to comment

DaBlist
Time for front lip so slice and dice some 2x6cm tubing Test fit valance from 72 Volvo 3 Quote Link to comment
DaBlist
Tacked lip to valance Didn't like how the outer openings are so close to ends. Would make wrapping the ends around into the body look all wrong, So more slice and dice Liking this better 3 Quote Link to comment
