Ryan Family 510
Its a 55 gallon 155 psi Colman. It sprays for a good amount of time before kicking on. Dan, we already have clear on the car and want to spray a few more coats to even it out. Looking for prep suggestions. Scuff with 1200? I am also going to look for another spray gun with a smaller tip. Quote Link to comment
Dantheman
I would love to come and have a look. We can try some test areas and see what would work best. If that's ok Quote Link to comment
Ryan Family 510
Of course that's OK! I'll send you a text Quote Link to comment
Duncan
I haven't worked a lot with clear coat, but I had to do a similar job once on a front valence with 2-stage paint. I scuffed it with 400 wet and re-coated it with no problems. If it's thin, maybe start with 600 and see how it goes. The product sheet for the clear might have this info on it. Quote Link to comment
mcordero8
If you sand clear with 400, or 600 you will get to the paint pretty quickly. I think I used 1800, or 2000 on mine. Quote Link to comment
