Odd.  Although the grill, rear lights and cleaned up rear quarter panels are true 411 units, the front fenders and roll pan are pickup units with parking lights that span the joint between the fender and the pan.  The usual 411 front parking lamps are inserted into the roll pan and are centered below the twin headlamps.  Possibly a transitional race only assemblage?

That's a car from the AutoShiro shop. The owner Akihito Isshiki is a 410\411 specialist. He restores cars lovingly with all NOS parts and replated bolts, fully painted under carriages etc. His work is amazing and he goes so far as to source original period correct parts down to Toshiba headlights. I've read all his blogs and follow him on Instagram, sss_sprout_sss . I don't know if those are original Grand Prix cars or he just takes donors and builds them to spec. But he has one white and one black with the same basic build specs. Whenever I see his cars it makes me feel like a hack. Which I am! Haha.

"Sweedish Cadillac" I really appreciate the rugged construction and excelent workmanship of the Toshiba headlights!  My 1967 RL411 still has 3 of the original Toshiba headlights.  Unfortunately the third headlight was broken in a stupid driver's [no, not me] parking lot acident.  I have replaced it 3 times with Sylvania equivalent units.  No comparison!  Toshiba or nothing for me!  47 years of excellent service trumps any desire to use domestic replacements.  Yes, they still emit full legal lumens.

I also have three original Toshiba headlights that came with my 1965 barnfind 410 wagon. Although it hasn't had a battery hooked up to it in 17 years, still don't know if they are good. If anyone has any doubt to how pimp the Autoshiro cars are, this is how Sprout rolls...

Plusthose Toshibas Iren' original! They will work as in my  1967 RL4111.  Three of my  original Toshiba are still functional.  How many of your   47 year cars have any of the original headlights. or any, oiginal lamps still functional?

In Japan people are surprised.  "Your name is McDonald, but you look like Kentucky Fried Chicken Oji-san!"
