datsunfreak
A white engine bay is a clean look but it has to be maintained, especially if it isn't the body color, looks dirty fast. I've never even driven this car and I've already cleaned the engine bay three times in the last year... And it's probably due for another cleaning. Not stoked about what's gonna happen when it's on the road... ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
When I painted my car white, I had no intentions of painting my engine bay white as well, for that exact reason. Quote Link to comment
DatMo
This car will not be driven too much but I'll see what happens. I enjoy cleaning so it might not be so bad. Also, i ordered a t3 strut bar and the bar doesn't seem to fit into the tower pieces which is really annoying imo. disappointing. Quote Link to comment
DatMo
Cleaned up the block and tranny. just need to change out the inner and outer bearing. DatMo
doesn't this look like the wrong mounts? also, i think this is a 280zx 5 speed. So im gonna buy the bearings next week for it. also, i got a t3 mount since it's a longtail. Quote Link to comment
DatMo
would a soda blaster work on cleaning the engine bay? I'm prepping it for paint. Quote Link to comment

And that's a 510 mount, depending on the cross member, you'll probably need to get a z isolator. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/proxy/UresErts8qPTnTVP4qdFx7fH1cGT8Sg8p8vToLS70mfyg8WHImFi6Mb5IszNMMAjE7qFZrccVcFZe-R7PkrhIY8uG-dCzS_MWJTvNVrRinh2hGQxSOaB3BDp5vcaAxjDwOktdU8FL8GWppVAc9RCCNR6a6QglQ=w400-h550-nc Quote Link to comment
