Actually if one examines the states and counties that overwhelmingly voted for Trump in the last election...

...these are the same areas which are currently being ravaged by opioids and formerly by meth. ( most all meth. production moved to Mexico, but that's another story).

So the knee jerk reaction to this is that " everyone is despairing because there are no jobs, no hope, addiction is a disease bla bla bla."

Wrong, the core value of addiction/ alcoholism is selfish selfcenteredness.

Trump is like a drug, he is a lie which makes people feel good about themselves, that is the first part of the con.

People under the influence are also susceptible and easy to manipulate, that is the second part of the con.

You think drug addicts even care to vote ? why would they vote for a guy that wants to secure the border (putting a big dent in smuggling) cut off all the free shit drug addicts can get and hire a hard ass attorney general that wants to strictly enforce drug laws ? you make no sense.

Well he didn't have to work very hard on it. I despise The Tic and ANYONE, specially trump, would have been a better choice. Bernie would have been a better choice... but he got fucked in the ear by Clinton and the party. People need to remember this in three years when Trump is up to bat again. Wouldn't surprise me if the Dems mount a successful bid for president either.

...nah, he would have raised taxes so that everything is free, healthcare, education. Too much of a socialist.

Urban centers can afford to provide some services to help people who, for what ever reason, find themselves homeless. Unfortunately, welfare services more often than not creates dependency. That being said, it's not likely those 18 million empty homes are in urban centers, and even if you could fill them with homeless, without mental health services, drug rehab, job training, peer community support, it would be disaster.

Economic forces are what drives population massification and in highly successful urban centers where geographic space is limited, like San Francisco and NYC, living space comes at a HUGE premium. This means existence there is precarious, but if you are low income, it's a constant fight for survival. Even if you have a good income, without a strong support system you are always one illness away from being homeless. So why don't other expensive first world country's have as many homeless? Is it because their people aren't lazy fat asses like Merican's? Could it be there's a correlation between homelessness and access to healthcare? Could it be other countries invest in universal public services (yes socialism) that makes urban living more practical and affordable? For anyone who thinks homeless people are just lazy freeloaders, I suggest you try it for a month. Whether it's drug addiction, mental illness, financial circumstances, or a broken spirit, none of them chooses that life.

Right left tug of war aside, the 26% of America's eligible voters who put Trump in the White House are not just republicans or even "conservatives" in a traditional sense. What comes pouring out of the Trump reality bubble is fear and anger about losing the America we had. Put simply, the America that was "prosperous". Here's where my sympathy for these people ends, it's their unfailing ability to overlook what's right in front of them. The US has never been wealthier or more productive, so why aren't we feeling that prosperity now? The virtual austerity we've been living under is the product of a grotesque imbalance in capital distribution. The rules of capitalism have been bent in favor of the fattest few, and that has created a master slave form of capitalism. And what do the feverishly divided Mericans do to make America great again? They give the fattest fucking rich kid the keys to the candy shop.

Why should we give a shit when Trump demonstrates all the tell tale signs of being a meth addict? No, Trump supporters will never understand how the rest of the snowflake'n planet sees him as completely unworthy of the office. Point that out and, Fake News, Cucks, witch hunt, snowflakes, haters, conspiracy nuts, deep state, Purge the FBI, Hillary loving Libtards, establishment sheep, sore losers, oh no, the entire justice system is corrupt not Trump. Now they're trying to garner sympathy for Trump by comparing his acceptance to other presidents? That's pathetic. It's not that Trump isn't in the same league, it's that he stepped into the head coach position from the Las Vegas Betting Line. He'll make a killing on this.

Comes down to the biggest lying cunt. Oh... did I give it away?

Uh..... nothing is free if paid for with taxes rather than out of your wallet.

I call bullshit!

Nope, she would not have been able to govern, probably more chaos than now too.

The orange imbecile would have been safe in his golden tower, tweeting like Capt. Infallible that he somehow knows more about everything then everyone.

And his followers would have been whipped into a bloodlust, even more so than before the election.

Now at least everyone can see what he is really made of.

England also has a high homeless population amongst first tier nations. But anyway, poverty is just not because poor health care, the current liberal magic wand, but also because of lack of education and common decency. Yes, I said it, decency.

If liberal engineering really did work, and it has not, people should be living in a virtual utopia. Free housing, healthcare, money to spend, phones and so on. What do we have? A bunch of fat lazy Americans that have become dependent on a systems that has coddled them. Honestly, why should they work when the handouts to maintain their shitty, dare I say, glorified existence is guaranteed?

Common decency and the drive to do better should have eradicated this, but no, that is not the attitude the left wants to foster. Keep them chained up to the social welfare machine to keep their seats in government. Import and Breed new voters! That is the Liberal way!

All those public housing buildings should be well kept and inviting, yet the breed the worst in humanity. Like caged rats that just sit around are fed regularly, the eventually start to eat themselves.

Thanks Liberal Engineering!
