I can't use that thing for builds though.....don't wanna get it dirty.... Onward..... L20 engine progress...... I don't know how you guys do freeze plugs.....but this seems to be the easiest for me..... Gotta be careful not to hammer the prybar in too far and hit a cylinder wall...... 1 Quote Link to comment

I just stick them on the chuck and scrape by hand...... Brown for steel/cast...... Red for aluminum...... 1 Quote Link to comment

Busta Nut Posted October 17, 2014 Author Report Share Posted October 17, 2014 Plans have NOT been going as planned with this.....one of the guys at a 2 man machine shop was out for over a week and set them back...HARD..... ......which set everyone else back........including me......but this wasn't my only issue...... I have 4 sets of rings for L20bs.......which are not for L20bs.......not really sure what they go to...... :poop: :poop: I was gonna break this engine in before he came up for the swap......... .......well....... ......................plans have change.......since the swap is supposed to happen next weekend...... Now......he is coming up Friday night to pull the engine out....... Saturday.....swap all parts and install fresh engine...... Sunday Morning......Engine break-in Fun Run :thumbup: Who's in??
