Did you blast the inside? Of the valve cover?

Because with out breaking the factory glue there's now way you could have gotten all of the media

this is why i tell everyone hot soapy water rinse for a long time in the valve cover... taping them off help but that shit gets everywhere

Spent a solid 5-6 hours yesterday just cleaning, polishing chrome and then waxing!!!!

Came out pretty nice, first time I have polished any of the chrome on this car, I hit every fucking piece :)

^^ thanks that was a lot of time consuming tedious work........... i am really glad i did it though, makes the chrome really pop and now it is nice and protected

Well no time like the last few days before Canby to go ahead and pull the trans to resurface the flywheel and intsall new clutch kit, while im at it why not clean up under there, paint some stuff and replace rear trans seal  :frantics:

started off using steal wool to clean off all surface rust and have a nice smooth and clean surface to prime and paint........ sine it was just surface rush and dirt and grime it cleaned up real nice, this was more of a test then anything permanent since i hope to pull the whole rear crossmember someday and do it nice

went to work with the steal wool on the muffler and chrome tip as well, i had negleted it since i had my exhaust done so it had started to get rust spots.  Little elbow grease and some wax after LOL and it was looking pretty good again.
