5t341tH
I recently ordered mine from rock auto too. Acdelco parts and they arrived with correct parts. Only reason I didn't go moog was because they only have one side left 1 Quote Link to comment
Guest Rick-rat
The AC Delco I ordered were the same even though the part numbers on the boxes were different. Did you check them as shown in the picture? 1 Quote Link to comment
5t341tH
The bags the rods came in were different part numbers. I've installed it with no issues so I'm sure the parts I got are right 1 Quote Link to comment

Scgreen620
They should ask for the old ones when you buy the new ones that way companies would just replace the balljoints and sell them again .. Quote Link to comment
Goemon
Some of the Rare Parts parts are actually 555 made in Japan. I am currently looking for a left side 555 Tie rod assembly for my 79 620. If anyone has a 555 Left Side Rod Assembly, I would like to purchase. Rare Parts is too damn expensive. I didn't pay near that for the right, it was in a TRW box All my other steering parts are 555. MOOG and TRW sell them in their boxes. One 555 ball joint was in a TRW box. I went through several vendors to find all 555 stuff. 555 have a tit on thee boot and 555 in an oval in the casting. The are marked on the cap also. Right side is # ES2339A there are lots of right sides out there. That is the MOOG & TRW number 48630-B5000 is the 555 number for the Left side Thanks Joe Quote Link to comment
jimmysalildimmy
I'm having the same Issue trying to find tire rods for my 79 620. I need left and right tire rods. Mine are all adjustable so you would think I should just be able to purchase ends that will thread and call it good. Think the previous owner was frustrated with tire rod situation as well. datzenmike
The stock tie rods are non adjustable. Toe is adjusted by turning the cross rods. Maybe they are from a 720, those were adjustable. Those would be sold as two parts that you just screw into the middle piece. Quote Link to comment
