nukeday
Alright, now that I'm committed to actually securing a couple of these old trucks, I'd like your advice on what to examine first, how to determine the extent of needed repairs and ultimately, whether to part or save 'em. I'll be the custodian of a '70 521 (may be a 520), and a '63 PL320. I know the two most maintained areas of these trucks to be the brakes and the carb. I believe a Weber will drop right on the 521, but what are my carb options for the 320? Can I flat tow these trucks? The '63 has a built in tow bar on the front. Does someone here know the size of the wheel cylinder seals for each respective rig? I searched here and didn't find it (yet). Anyone have PN's? Are kits available for the master, clutch slave, etc? Recommendations on where to start are much appreciated. Anyone local who'd like to come take a look or lend a hand, PM me. I'm just outside of Eugene. Quote Link to comment
