Mattndew76
Seems like Mastercam as well other software seem to have efficiency as an afterthought. I watch the mills run the same line sometimes 2to3 times when one pass would have easily taken care of it. weird. Totally inefficient. The HSM I use at work is amazing with good tool path right out the gate first try. Quote Link to comment
graveltrapp
What is it called? Student copies are generally much less expensive. A coworker just orderd a textbook off of Amazon.com for $80 which includes the student copy. Quote Link to comment

KEWL510
What front spoiler is that? Is it specific for the 1200 or off something else? Quote Link to comment
Mattndew76
Its for a 68-69 Camaro SS lip. I sectioned it to fit the coupe. 2 Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
Thank you Diego. Anyone know where to get this in clear? FYI, I'm 99% sure all of those are made to fit the Sunny Excellent, so it will require mods to fit a standard 1200. May not want one in clear... ;) Unless you're also buying Excellent fenders and hood... ^_^ Quote Link to comment
Mattndew76
I would enjoy the mod. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Always wanted a white one myself. Think it would be fun for shows and such... Only seen clear ones on Celicas and Kenmeris... Quote Link to comment
Mattndew76
Yeah same here. I think if I can get a solid one I could talk ($$) a local plastic shop into vacuum forming a .125" thick poly-carb one. Quote Link to comment

MicroMachinery
Those vents are sex. What's with all the deleted posts on pages 1-4? Quote Link to comment
Mattndew76
Started to consolidate images but lost interest. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Aren't the side vents supposed to let air out, not ram air in? Or is the billet piece open on both ends? Quote Link to comment
Mattndew76
I'm converting one vent on each side to cool the brakes. I figured I would prototype some vent ideas. I want to machine a taller catch scoop profile in a mould pattern, and vac bag some carbon. 1 Quote Link to comment

Mattndew76
Figured I would design a better intake to run two 50MM Throttle bodies, and 4 injectors. 4 Quote Link to comment
