In many ways, I thinks it's the ritual more than the nicotine when it comes to cigarettes, you're right. For me...I have like the polar opposite of an addictive personality and seem to be really lucky because of that. I would not call it will power, because that would indicate some sort of struggle, when I decide not to do something, I just stop and don't really have much craving for it after. The exception being some pills my Dr had me strung out on. I stopped those and my body with through some really nasty withdrawals. But, I sweated it out, shit...that was like having the flue for a month. Quote Link to comment

I've seen it first hand, its the true definition of drug sick Vaping weed doesn't work for me either, it's too readily available. I find pot edibles to be fucking disgusting and really throw off my center of gravity. As for smoking................. there are all these people coming up with micro brews, hybrid pot strands and edible underwear, I wish they would sell some decent home grown cigarette tobacco that wasn't cut with head cleaner and rocket fuel. TENDRIL Posted May 10, 2014 Report Share Posted May 10, 2014 do the E-cig really work? quite a few people around me say they do but, i notice them sucking on it every 5-10 min, how much healthier can it be? i would love to quit smoking....but like you guys are saying, there's nothing like a cup of coffee, on the porch looking out into the dew laden field from my porch, flick of a bic and start the day... but i have been considering the e cig. oh and for thread purpose's i was raised in NA/AA with both of my parents, i was taught about choices, and had the familiarization of drugs and alcohol from early on and feel quite lucky because of it. alot of my generation, picked it up because the didn't understand, i pick it up because i do.... 1 Quote Link to comment
