Project Kaoss: Bagged and Bodied 620.

Got one of the wheels polished, and holy crap it turned out better than I thought it would. Well worth the $15 price of admission. I did a little more cleaning up on it after the pic was taken.

I also grabbed a 521 rear end out the junk yard, too bad it had a bent axle shaft. I had the idea of taking my 620's axle shaft, shorting it to the same length as the 521, and bolting it back up. Even after shorting it, I couldn't get it to bolt back up. Big waste of time and money, but oh well, it's all part of hot rodding. The 620 rear end shouldn't be too much of hassle to narrow.

I hope to get the lower link bars tacked in place sometime this week, then start on the notches.

Thanks!

The rest of the wheels off to the polish shop! Going to get some rubber on these this month also.

Getting the factory rails cut whooped my ass. 8 cut off wheels and 4 hours later, I got it all mocked up. This frame has a vertical support all the way down the inside of the rail. Total pain in the ass.
