That's a badass looking header anyway, regardless of the ceramic coating!

Did I miss (or forget) you guys making that?

LOL!  I made this back in the dark ages before Al Gore had invented these interwebs!

Edit: And thank you!

Interesting side note (well, interesting to me), Tim was in the middle of building this header the day we met back in 1998. 😁

Header looks pretty damn good for being 25 years old. 👍

Interesting side note #2 (well, interesting to me), Tim had it ceramic coated back when he built it by (we think) the same guy who just did it for him again. Even the guy who did it was shocked at how well the coating had aged. Of course, I didn't tell him we hadn't driven the car in almost 20 years.  😀

Went to retrieve the jackstands from under the rear axle today.  The right rear does not hold air.  I was quite pissed.  John rolls in and says, "We'll just take it back to the tire guy for a new stem." just as calm as can be... which pissed me off more, because that's just the way I am.

That clear garden hose fuel and oil rated? 👀

Old post, but it's actually urethane.  I used the same thing on my gas tank vent line and no problems at all with it.  It's very good stuff, actually..

And on top of that it should be good for 125psi. As I’ve used it on an air compressor.

It is entirely pooible that we will have to "abandon" the Dajiban five speed install tomorrow due to* the rain.  If so, we're going to hit this project again... and by "hit" I mean try to figure out what the hell we were doing when the Dajiban cut in line!

*Tee hee, I said "doo doo"!

Not raining, y'all gonna have to wait a few days more.  Sorry.

Did you lie about the threads being stripped, getting back to work, or ordering helicoils, or all of the aforementioned????

No, yes, and no.  😄

Tim is taking his van to it's first ever car show tomorrow, so we ended up fixing a few last minute things on it instead.

I had "progress pictures" in mind... but just plain "progress" is a more accurate description of the lie.

We may introduce one more bend on the top front corner just to complete the effect of surrounding the master... or we may not.  Stay tuned!
