glam mashed with grunge.....so wrong. there's a special place reserved in hell for whoever made that one, between the spaces saved for guys who jerk off to graphic novels and for the guys who sniff little kids' shoes outside the McDonald's ball pit. still, the songs mechanically fit well.

That Bugles Video was the very first video MTV ever played back in the early eighties,,,,when they actually played videos and not this "reality" shit that clogs up the airwaves these days.

Who remembers staying up until midnight to watch 120 minuets?

Edit: that was a different version of the video, cool.

Here was the original,

On the subject of Pink Floyd; here's the first half of a little docu that you can get your 'Floyd Fix' and maybe see some historic and vintage road racing video in addition.

My kind of fun.

David and Nick even help fill a couple of the cockpits on a couple of vintage/repro Jags. For any who might not know Nick Mason is current caretaker of a number of vintage race cars.

My Brother Dan's contribution to the music world was transcribing the lyrics to Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving With a Pict, Pink Floyd (Waters)  Ummagumma 5:01

Aye an' a bit of Mackeral settler rack and ruin
ran it doon by the haim, 'ma place
well I slapped me and I slapped it doon in the side
and I cried, cried, cried.

The fear a fallen down taken never back the raize and then Craig Marion,
get out wi' ye Claymore out mi pocket a' ran doon, doon the middin stain
picking the fiery horde that was fallen around ma feet.
Never he cried, never shall it ye get me alive
ye rotten hound of the burnie crew. Well I snatched fer the blade O my
Claymore cut and thrust and I fell doon before him round his feet.

Aye! A roar he cried frae the bottom of his heart that I would nay fall
but as dead, dead as 'a can be by his feet; de ya ken?

...and the wind cried Mary.

According to Dan this is an account of the famous defeat of mary queen of scots at the battle of langside that took place in the 16th century.

Boy's wicked smart.
