MikeRL411
datsunbat, where do you find that black vinyl interior material? I got upholstery material that looks just like that, and perfectly matched the factory original grain pattern in my 411 from Evans Upholstery in Hawthorne CA. The material grain pattern was called "Wallaby" as in kangaroo. Check with an upholstery shop near you and see if this pattern is still available. Quote Link to comment

datsunbat
Hello friends! Here are the latest news on my restoration Project! Last weekend I woke up very hurly, around 7 o’clock to go to Sr. Vitorino’s garage! We work a lot on and in the car, and the results are appearing week by week! ihatchard: Thanks you! I'm working on details, because I think they are extremely important! The cleaning of the rubbers is made with water and soap, then is just need a little bit of shoe polish, and for the final I pass all the rubbers in a machine that polishes faster...I don't knoe its name! But the next time I'll take a photo for you to see! The nuts, almost the same process, but with a different machine. They are all clean at high temperature, and then white metalized... Lets take a look at the pictures! Thanks you all guys for the comments made! They are so pleasant that Sr. Vitorino wants to learn English to answer some questions to you! Not kidding!!! We put a lot of parts this weekend, some have arrived from the metallization process, and some were bought! Aqui est Edited February 4, 2009 by datsunbat Quote Link to comment
