EastBay521
Did a little homework, the SO rethread kit is made by the same company that makes the craftsman kit and is the same exact thing with the difference being that for $100 more SO will warranty them of they break. kinda undecided if the extra money is worth the warranty.. also in they market for a nice test lead kit. Ive checked out the matco one but also seen a set on ebay for like $70. Any recommendations? Quote Link to comment

And don't buy Craftsman. Warranty will suck ass. Buy the MATCO rethread kit. Or buy the same kit from a company named Lisle from Amazon. EastBay521
I fucked up when I bought my power probe. I bought the 4 instead of getting the 3 with the lead kit included for the same price. I really wont even use half of the features it has No matco guy I have a snap on guy that I go meet when I need shit. None that come to the shop, I work with a bunch of wetbacks that love to go warranty shit at HF.the impact sockets are great for the price though. But I was given a $50 gift card to sears so have been thinking about the rethread kit thats $60. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
The power probe 4 is bad ass. You will end up using it if you learn how to use the other features. I'm always grabbing my coworker's PP4. I love the thing. Just don't want to spend the money yet. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
I'll send you my PP3 if you want to trade. Quote Link to comment

flatcat19
Unscrew the battery co er when not using. You don't want those batteries corroding in there. Mine has been well worth every penny. I have the half-inch wrench. Quote Link to comment
EastBay521
This is the 1/4. Im undecided if I should spent the extra $200 for the digi or just go click type for the 1/2. Funds are going to be tight around here until after july. I could buy more tools if I didnt have datsuns to feed Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
If you do torque to yield of big bolts, yes. If not click will do just fine. I torque a lot of head gaskets. All are done by ft. lbs. then an extra 90° or so after initial torque. Quote Link to comment

flatcat19
Lol. Throwing your money away. If you never try a Milwaukee though, you'll never know that you're getting screwed. That's good, I guess. 1 Quote Link to comment
Draker
I'm a second hand snap on buyer. I don't work in the field any more.. so I just pick it up on ebay or CL. And yeah, Milwaukee is good shit! Quote Link to comment
Cosmonaut
Me likes Milwaukee Quote Link to comment
q-tip
I co-own a Milwaukee drill and 1/2 impact that are close to 15 years old and have been thru hell, they still work perfectly. Battery life isn't the best anymore but that shit will get you out of a pinch. The impact was part of our wheeling equipment. Quote Link to comment
Draker
Picked this up today, second hand. Hope I don't need it.. but good when I do. I have the HF version and it works okay.. this was too cheap not to buy. 5 Quote Link to comment
