What to look for in a 620 when buying

Hi

I'm thinking of buying a 620 which has been used as a farm vehicle

I've never owned a 620 before, just a B110

Want to know of common things to look for e.g common places for rust, particular points in the chassis for rust, things that will be a pain to replace, vs general rust/sheetmetal repair.

Also - on the plate under the bonnet - what are the measurements (in mm) for short vs long wheel base?

Thanks

Long wheel base will have 5 bed hooks, not 4, or a King Cab on it.

Fill out your profile including your location.  If in the east, rust would be a problem and availability of spare parts. Bonnet sounds Engrish or Aussie

Currently it only has a flatdeck (non kingcab) so wanted to know regarding the measurements for wheelbase stamped on the plate as I can source a SWB wellside.

And yeah from NZ (so Aussie close enough!)

Rats - it's a LWB model and the wellside I could acquire is SWB, bummer, wellsides are rare as hens teeth here in NZ.

Appreciate the help

Don't buy 1

Buy 2

Pain, frustration, heartache.  But you will love it.

Rust, broken bolts and smiles per hour.

Floorboards fall out, bottoms of the doors and back of the cab like to rust as well, basically anywhere that might hold water will rust.
