yellowdatsun Posted September 28, 2008 Report Share Posted September 28, 2008 Ahhh, road trips in Datsuns, always an adventure! I've driven from Phoenix, AZ to Mt Shasta, CA 3 times in my 510. Almost exactly 1000 miles each way! Always bring the tools. I have great memories of asjusting clutch slaves in Kmart parking lots, rebuilding carbs in hotel rooms, adjusting cam belts on the later VG in parking lots. Plus, when your doing in in July, and it's 110 with no A/C, the mister bottles your using as coolers create this lovely nasty dirty film all over you, making you crave a shower asap. I will try to get some pictures up. I was going to go to Pikes Peak but my aunt was feeling sick and we didn't make it!!!:mad::mad::mad: We made it to Denver, CO and had to pass up the exit.. oh well, I WILL go back out there!!
