It looks like the LIMA 2.3 I-4

No it is the German designed 2,0 that came in 71 to 73 Pintos and the Capri. In 1974 Ford replaced it and the British 1.6 with the 2.3 to save money as importing engines was too expensive. I believe the Capri went all V6 about that time as well.

Just a guess, I owned a '79 Ford Bronco..... that's about all I know about Fords.

Too bad you waited too long as the first gen Broncos were much better, I owned 3 of them over the years, the last one was a 76 that I loved dearly but had to sell for financial reasons. When I could afford a 4X4 toy again rust free first gens were like gold so I switched to a Jeep XJ. Fords and Chevys I know and like but MOPARs not so much.

I had a '63 Econoline with I think, a 170 six in it between the seats.

edit: I totally forgot I had the Econoline in addition to a later '79 Bronco, guess I had 2 Fords. There were 144, 170, 187, 200 and 250 cu in engines over the years but in '63 only 144, 170 and 200..... I looked it up.
