Broken cable, too much slack, or something wrong with the cable setup or brake drums. As the cables age they do get more slack, there is usually an adjuster you can tighten to reduce the slack if it is not already maxed out. Quote Link to comment

How do you not know if they're hooked up if you did the brakes? You need to remove the ebrake actuator from the old trailing shoe to install a new one. 1 Quote Link to comment
