E1 vs J13 Distributors

I'm looking for info on the E1 engine distributors.  I've read that the earliest ones are different from the later ones.  The FSM I have says the 320 (E1) distributor is Hitachi D406-01 with Nissan Part #22100-08300.  The J13 distributor in the 520 parts catalog is listed as model Hitachi D411-53, Nissan Part #22100-16506. 

 

Basically I'm wondering if the E1 distributor from a 1964 320 is interchangeable with a J13 distributor from a later 520 truck and if not what are the differences.
