I can see some good points to your advice. Education is helpful in any person's life and someone's specific employment situation is not the president's fault. Thanks for the link to student funding. It seems every president is blamed for any imperfect situation. But aside from that, your advice is littered with derogatory remarks and insults. Stay off this website.

Just to be clear, I don't blame the president for MY situtation, only the current state of the economy... even then hes only the focal point BECAUSE the fact hes the president not in inspite of it. I have my own business... its struggling because of the economy, which has forced me to take on a regular job as well... which obviously brings down my mood a bit. My reason for posting this to our "community" (which is what I feel this is, not just some stupid forum), was to see if anyone had any leads that might narrow down my search area. Before finding the job that I did, I spent a LOT of time on craigslist, New tribune, little nickel... etc. only to find dissappointment, where as a year ago or even better yet 8 years ago the jobs (in my "fields" of specialty) were abuntdant.

And by the way, I've been around long enough to see 11 presidents starting with Harry S Truman who's famous quote "The Buck Stops Here" is a phrase that refers to "passing the buck," i.e., handing responsibility to someone else, and the fact that the president has to make the decisions and accept the ultimate responsibility for those decisions. Back then the presidency was a respected office. Not since Nixon have I seen an incumbent president so vilified and undeserving of the public trust. Those who voted for him are getting exactly what they deserve. As for comparing him to the future presidential candidates, sadly it comes down to a popularity contest won by default because he makes them look so good.

Vilified and undeserving of the treatment he's getting is more like it. All this crap started in Florida during the his original Presidential run, when the screeching liberals tried to steal the election. Only made it that much better when they failed a second time. Make no mistake though, Bush isn't the perfect President. He does many things I don't appreciate, like trying to push forward amnesty for illegal aliens. However, a lot of things he does are good, but receives no credit for doing them. I'm still glad I voted him in, as the alternatives were far, far, worse.

 

This also applies to the upcoming delegates, as well. The only one who might end up better than him, or even stands a chance at this point, is McCain. Obama, the anointed one, is an empty skirt and has absolutely no experience to run a country, let alone a state. He's a puppet propped up by the ultra-liberal media (and George Soros) who have the desire to make this a socialist/quasi-communist country. That brings us to Hillary, an empty pants-suit, who wants the same thing as Obama. If either of them are elected, things will get real ugly for this country, and Canada.
