The biggest problem with metal work, is finding the cash, and the space to put the big tools that are necessary to do the work.  Let me think... other than machine work, I think metal fab tools take up the most room in a shop....

Hey Datsunrider, I saw the pic you posted under "show us your rear end's".  I didn't want garble up that thread, so I thought this might be a better place to post this suggestion:

 

If your considering buying new wheels for your Goon, try this first, it's cheap and fairly easy.  All you need is some spray paint, masking tape, and I used printer paper for masking as well:

That looks fresh KM what were the colors you used?

I'm pretty sure these are the colors I used.  Aluminum and a grey metallic.  I was selling the car and I was looking for something cheap, to bling it up a bit.  The grey metallic was as close to the original wheel color as I could find.
