Recommended Posts

OK so I went into a tire and rim shop out here and found a set of 17s that I had my buddy Photoshop onto the 620 I plan on running 215/45s up front and 235/50s in the rear but I'm not sure of the offset I need on the rims the rims only have 3 different offsets from the dealer -22,0,+22 can anyone shed some light on this for me since I know nothing about wheels

Well at last some common sense. Find out what fits first. Most just fall in love with them, then buy them then try to make them fit and start crying.

Here's one that shows the tires too.

here are how my 16x8.5 negative 10 offset look on my truck

as for tires im running 225/45 up front and

245/45 on the rear.

check out this site to compare and contrast

http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

in comparison, my 225/45s are obviously 10mm wider than your 215s,

and only 'shorter' by .7" (my 23.9 circumference vs your 24.6)

which is only .35" in radius. ive lowered my front close to 4 inches

so you def got room up front.

in the rear again im obviously 10mm wider in the tire, but youre now

1.7" taller. (24.6 vs 26.3) or .85" in radius.

i got 3" blocks on the rear and im good, so i think youll be good to

i will add that my rear tires do scrape, even after some modest hammering

on the inner lip of the rear fenders. but again im 10mm wider than you....

what wheel width are you thinkin?
