thisismatt Posted June 25, 2013 Report Share Posted June 25, 2013 matt, this is why I have a problem with the discussion taken out of the classifieds. second post. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/55292-s110-h190-with-disc-brakes/. now if you were new with a 510 wagon, surfing thru to see what parts were for sale, saw this and got curious so you clicked on it, and saw that post you might get excited, and you've learned something new. with the way things are now, you'd more likely see what it was, go "well that's cool" and call it a day. if you were really inspired you'd look up what an s110 is, and upon seeing it wasn't a 510, 610, 710, or 810 (the ones that would easily come to mind for interchange) would go "well, that's cool" and call it a day. 99 out of 100 people would not go far enough to start researching if it would interchange. yes that is a laziness problem to an extent, but it doesn't overly make sense that it would pretty much bolt in which is why most people would stop. Well, one could certainly entertain that question in one of the other discussion forums. The better question would be: Are those calipers bolted to anything? 'cause those sure look like they're just dangling out there and not bolted to anything, meanwhile one is just sitting on top of the backing plate... Link to comment

I like new ratsun but wish you guys would act the same as before the entire forum would be pissed at me if I started a build thread. my 2 projects move at the speed of molasses thanks to my work schedule, family schedule, pain tolerance from day to day(manual labor and fucked up knees/hips/ankles/back/shoulders do not make for a good combination), and cash situation. and on top of that, I don't have a camera so I cant even pull an indy and just take random oics of my non-runners in the garage/grass/driveway :rofl: Link to comment

Got some goodies for it, but other than that haven't done much. I really need to get some work on it. Looks like some rust is starting to come through the driver side fender. Considering he has stated he would start another shit storm if allowed to post again....I don't see that happening soon or even late dependent on his attitude at that point in time. He brought this on himself, no one else did and no one else can do anything about his behavior but him. He has been temp banned from here before on a couple occasions for less BS than this latest incident...so take that how you will. If you guys want this to be a better place, get to work. Police your friends when they are behaving like dicks and report those that don't take the hint. Sometimes the friendly banter gets a little out of control, but we mods shouldn't have to get involved unless you guys can't handle it. The format may change a little here and there, but this is still ratsun and you all make it what it is, so get out there and make it the place you want it to be. Link to comment
