darrel Posted June 18, 2013 Report Share Posted June 18, 2013 Passenger door latch not latching properly. With the door open, I can throw the latch to the second click and lock/unlock the door. But when closing it, the latch doesn't want to go to the second latch. The latch does work smooth when working it when the door is in the open position. The strike isn't hanging up and seems to be adjusted as far as it will go to be able to latch properly. Any ideas? I have one idea I haven't tried but will when i get my truck back. Take the strike off and physically put it up against the latch to see if the latch will connect on the second lock. The strike itself is whole, the bump that activates the latching mechanism is intact. Quote Link to comment
