Not sure how common thief is near you....

But maybe add a hidden battery disconnect or I've even heard people add a hidden ground switch.... basically it would ground the postive side of the coil to prevent spark.... yes it will blow the fuse if it is left on and the ignition turned on.. but then the thief will just be cranking the starter with no spark....

I doubt he's gonna open the hood and start trouble shooting if he can't get the truck to start....

Long time since the last update. Was super busy with graduation and life in general...

Time to get back at it again. Got the ignition rewired to button and switches. Old alt died thinking about swapping for the Saturn or zx alt.

Installed a spanking new Weber.

Got paid. It's working time.

 

Been reading these threads for the Saturn alt swap. Trying to get the electric information correct because I'm new to electrical.

Hopefully I can get everything in town.

Anybody have experience with this?

Wiring is the same as others I think. Two jumper wires and your good.
