On both of my 69 coupes, there is no separate number for motor on the strut tower tag. That's what threw me. Is that a Japan thing or is it a 68/69 thing? Neither of the L16 numbers match the chassis VIN numbers in my car. I don't know if that means they have been swapped or if it just means they didn't put the motor number on the tag. --carter 2 Quote Link to comment
