If he'd take $3k ...... this would be a decent buy, IMO.

'Feel free to ask questions and offers.'

Offer $2.7k (not too much of an insult) and settle on $3k. Everyone walks away happy.

1970 Datsun 510 odometer: 44fuel : gas transmission : automatictitle status : clean

1970 Datsun 510 auto, 2 owners, clear title, 44k original miles (documented) has not been licensed for 14 years, car runs and drives, transmission works/shifts as it should. Car has minimal rust (surface) as it has been in the dry side of Washington since new. this car is very original, paint is original and pretty nice, body is very straight, but you cans see where paint work has been done on rear, many years ago. This 510 has not been altered or modified in any way, After purchasing car in March, I bought a new battery and cables, drained tank, blew out fuel lines and replaced filter. I also had the Hitachi carb rebuilt, new air filter and NGK plugs. Motor runs strong and has great compression on all cylinders. Doesn't idle great I've been told it's because the stock carburetors are junk, but I did not want to take away from the originality of the car so there it is, I took it for a spin today and it drove quite well @65 mph, lights, gauges, wipers, turn signals, heater and even the AM radio($65 option) work great. I have all original documents including sales receipt(sold new 35 miles from where it spent the rest of its life), also included are all of the original trunk components, trunk mat and Nissan jack & handle, even the original Nissan wheel chocks. I would love to be able to keep this 510 true survivor, but health and finances decided otherwise. It would not take a lot to make this that car that people flock to at car shows. Please email me your phone number and I will call you back and you can ask me all the questions you want to about the car.

hahaha,   you might be right.

still don't think its nearly as tweaked up as most goons you see on c.list.

I personally would much rather have a Ka......................however someone in Portland wants this thing and it will probably sell for 4g I would think
