Now the parts chasing starts in earnest.....

Picked up a solid, CA blue plate 5 speed 79 King Cab in San Francisco yesterday afternoon - white over blue, cheap white repaint (jambs & inside the cab & engine compartment weren't painted, thankfully), no collision damage, essentially rust free, passed CA emissions 4 mos ago.

 

Interior needs immediate help, the window and door seals are toast (lots of cracks and splits) and the 8x15 white spoke wheels & almost worn-out Radial T/A's and the stainless coffee-can muffler gotta go.

 

One of the first orders of business is replacing the door & window seals - looks like all the seals EXCEPT the rear quarter window seals are readily available (neither Too Intense Restorations or the dealer has the quarter window seals - e-mailed Scott's Old Car Rubber in Australia, but haven't heard back yet).

 

If anybody knows of a source for the seals, or is parting out a KC with decent, usable quarter window seals (probably up in the cool, damp Northwest), please let me know.....
