Italy's 'People's Car' is nearly non-existant in original form in the US. As Ferdinand Porsche gave Germany and the world the Type I VW, Dante Giacosa brought his 'People's Car' to Italy shortly before WWII and was many American servicemen's first exposure to 'Foreign Cars'.
