VFR800
I said Gold/Black plates (Gold with Black numbers/letters), NOT Black/Gold ones. From what I can see in the pic the sticker it has on it says "56" and likely is the era of the car,as to the rest of the plate - meh. Quote Link to comment
DaBlist
License plate is on the wrong end of the car! Month and expiration stickers go on the rear plate! Many states used to require tags on the front and back or the front is also the back Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
Many states used to require tags on the front and back or it is the back It's a California Plate, so rear mount required. It's a BMW, so this is not the ass end. Lord knows what State, Provence or country the car was in when the PIX was taken. Quote Link to comment

Anyone remember if California ever had tags for the front too? Quote Link to comment
angliagt
No - just the rear plates. When I got new plates for a car I bought out of state,I read the instructions that came with it - "One plate goes on the front,& one goes on the rear". You know that there's a reason for it. 125 CSL
Louisiana only requires a plate on the rear. So a lot of guys put on plate from other states or countries. Don't know how many states are plate on the back end only, but sure it has to be more then Louisiana. Quote Link to comment
bilzbobaggins
Georgia. One plate, rear. Speaking of plates, local fuzz has started getting devices in the cars that auto scan all plates and go off if no insurance, warrants, etc etc. anyone have experience with them? Quote Link to comment
