But you might be right MikeRL411. The side "door" is actually a loading ramp, and I believe that's where Corvair got the idea for the Corvair Ramp Side pickup. It was such a good idea that conversion camper add-ons for the Corvair pickup were produced by independent vendors. You removed the ramp side and then the camper shell door fitted right in. 1 Quote Link to comment
