dozenhundred
I want to replace the rear sheet metal in my 1200 coupe. It was hit at some point in the past and the body work was horribly done. I plan on taking it down to metal to see just how bad it is under there, but ultimately I would like to weld in new panels. Anyone have a parts car or shell with a good rear section? 3 Link to comment
KELMO
I may very well be going to look at a 1200 that is a parts car tomorrow. You are talking about the rear body panel between the quarter panels right? Link to comment
dozenhundred
Yes indeedy. Don't need the trunk lid or quarters. I have found 1/4" to 1/2" of bondo in several places on this one. Thanks for thinking of me K1! Link to comment
KELMO
Have not heard from the lady yet but we had made plans to look at them today. Most of the panels on this car are not that pretty, I just cant remember the condition of the rear body panel. We"ll see what happens today. Link to comment
dozenhundred
Thanks! Of course I'm interested if it looks pretty fair. Would be better than what I have found on this one. I have a sister in law that lives in Albuquerque that I could likely have pick it up. K2 Link to comment
