Pacific coast Datsun
While i cant promise to be there this year i will say that this event is on my radar. Im only a few hours from Williams as well. Quote Link to comment
KELMO
Datrod, you better be bringing that wagon  Quote Link to comment
Johnlorio
Williams is a great little town. Spousal units can take the train to the grand canyon if they don't want to stand around forthe show. I brought my roadster lat year and hada blast. Plan on driving the 411 wagon over and possibly having my bro in law drive the roadster also. Quote Link to comment
KELMO
Are we not taking a trailer this year? Just our Dattos and our testicles? Right on! Quote Link to comment
Johnlorio
Trailer more trouble than it's worth. Besides the wagon is pretty comfy. Quote Link to comment

KELMO
A B210 would be awesome for this show. We usually caravan out on Friday. You are welcome to join along and as we get closer to October we will PM plans to you. Quote Link to comment
KELMO
Hotel reservations made yesterday, now I just need to get a car put together enough to go....could take the primer 1200 but it has been there, done that. time will tell. Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
Kelmo if i may ask ...where did you book your room & how much ? If i wait & book a room upon arrival do the motels sell out ? Quote Link to comment
KELMO
I booked at The Lodge on 66. Their rooms run about 100.00 a night (?), I don't know for sure because this time I booked a suite at about 170.00 per night. This show is the only vacation I take during the year so I splurge a bit. Some other Ratsun folks stayed at the Holiday Inn (?) last time you could PM them and see what input they may have (Datrod,BuddyLorio, Zachdog). Also of note, some of the hotels in town offer a discount if you mention the show. There could be a listing here www.nostalgicdatsun.com web for the lodge : www.thelodgeonroute66.com or 928-635-4534 As far as waiting til the day of the show, it may be a gamble. Last year there was a guy registered at the lodge but they do not allow pets and they were able to find him a room that evening.....so there is that. Williams is a small town with several small hotels, a few B&B's, and at least 2 chain type hotels. Hope my rambling was of some help....now you are obligated to show up  Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
Great info Kelmo thanks. I just need a bed..shower & toilet :-) Its about a 2.5 hour trip from here in Bullhead & im trying to get Steroid & Nevtony to join me. If Datrod & some of the So Cal guys go i can meet them in Kingman & caravan from there. Quote Link to comment
Duncan
I used the Motel 6 West. (not the East one) It looks like it used to be a Hampton Inn, so it's better than your average M6 place. The rate was around $50-ish per night as I recall. Quote Link to comment
datrod
I used the host hotel Holiday inn, Pretty nice place. Indoor pool, restaurant. It's right as you exit I40. I think I payed about $70.00 Quote Link to comment
KELMO
Looks like Datrod and Duncan are planning on showing up, so your reasons for not going are drying up :poke: Quote Link to comment

I found a room right away. Still, reserve a room early and take the worry out of it. Unfortunately, Chloe, my travel buddy, will have to stay home this year. Quote Link to comment
speedgato
Side note. We're planning on doing a run up to the Grand Canyon Saturday after the show. We went up last year, Datrod you remember. It was pretty cool. We even found a hanger full of very rare, very cool old planes. You're all welcome to come along this year! Quote Link to comment
KELMO
The Albuquerque gang may tag along this year. Should be at least 3 of us.......for now  I also just heard there is another NM member that went to your state with a trailer yesterday.......... 1 Quote Link to comment
