Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
I know someone just posted looking for one of these, but I am in need as well. It would be really awesome if I could get a hold of one that is numbered D81... Let me know 3 Link to comment
jvb5577
Just curious as to why a D81? Link to comment
Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
It would make life easier on the machinist. I can't remember the specifics but cranks vary depending on the engine or specs of said engine. The D81 is just slightly less work to alter according to him. Link to comment
jvb5577
Alright. Just some information... I have a Z22E and the block is a D81 but the crankshaft inside is a M90 or 09W (however it is really read). Maybe he was referring to the engine block? I'm not sure at all but thought I would just share it. Link to comment
Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
That's probably what he was referring to, it had some kind of dependence on it being a z22e or z22s, etc. Link to comment
Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
Bump still looking. Link to comment
Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
Bump, doesn't have to be a specific z22 crank, just any z22 crank will work Link to comment
Son_of_a_Datsun_Guy
I would also possibly buy a Z22 short block if you had one and are fairly local to me. Link to comment
