1993 Infiniti j30t

Recommended Posts

The front tension/pillow rod bushings are torn. Common issue with a lot of Nissan's. They want close to $300 a piece, the J shares quite abit with the z32, which I read shares the tension rods with a s13....so I picked these up for $100ish and by crackey I think they are going to work.

The later year models of the J30T have a seven year, 108,000 mile timing belt replacement interval.  You are doing a good job!

By the way, by 1967 Infiniti had added so much monitoring and theft proofing to the J30 that the glove box driver's manual explicitly states that if you won't be driving the car for 4 or more days, to disconnect the battery!
