Z-train
or,how i got sick of the fucking adapter loosening up and i eliminated a potential vacuum leak. I modified an adapter that Mike made and here we go. Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
210 intake? I hope you're going to open that thing up a little bit. That's a huge part of my poor dyno results on my motor. Looks fantastic though. Quote Link to comment

metalmonkey47
And yet bone stock L16s can pull higher numbers on the Dyno... Yeah, lol I've got a few different things going on. Those tiny 1.1'' intake ports don't breath as well as they could though. Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Good enough for a L16 to get 72hp on a dyno... Quote Link to comment
Dawa
the mani is aluminum, right? adapter too? i dont know anything about welding but i think the mani is cast and cast is hard(er?) to weld? obviously i dont know anything here so please verify Quote Link to comment
Z-train
I believe the adapter was forged and i know the manifold is cast.Makes no difference.Aluminum stitches nicely.I have no intention of opening anything up.This motor was a specifc build for a truck used on a ranch & driven daily. The cam is all done by 5500 and the torque peak is 3500 or so.It puts 160 ft pounds to the wheels.
