PDX meetups?

Hey, all.  I am a new owner of a 1979 210 and a new Ratsun member.  I've got a million questions and have been reading a lot of the forums.  One thing I've noticed is how many members are in the Portland area.  I'd like to meet some of y'all and see your rides.  Is there a regular meeting or an informal venue where PDX folks meet?

This is Little D.  It's my "new" 1979 210 A14 manual.  Yep, there's a ding on the door, which means I have to work pretty hard to shut the door well enough to stop the warning buzzer.  There're a few small dings around the front.  The interior looks like the previous owner locked a very large very angry cat inside for a couple hours.  The suspension is shot, the brakes almost so.  It has a new muffler, a new sound system (stealth in and under the glove box) with Yellow Top battery.  The wheels are 13" but they look amazing.  It has a moonroof that doesn't leak.  Little D is ready for some upgrades!

I've got so many ideas in my head about what I want to do with Little D. It will be nice to see some other Datsuns and learn what others have done.

Oh yeah... interesting side note:  This car was originally purchased in 1979 in Beaverton and has had the vast majority of its work done in Beaverton.

I wouldn't quite say a dozen, that's on a good night when people like Adam actually make it out :P

 

And its not quite every week, but usually every 2-3 weeks.

North west datsun owners association (were the ones that put on the blue lake show) lots of knowledgable old timers in datsuns that know pretty much everything, we meet up every 3rd sunday of the month at 2:30 at stark street pizza company off stark street and i205.
