finally had to make a decision on the color today, took me about an hour staring at paint chips with alec (the painter) but i picked one out and im stuck with it now haha. ill post pictures of the color once its painted

Can't wait to see it! Doesn't surprise me that you took an hour to pick a colour. When people come into my store alot of them are surprised that there are so many different variations of one color, or even when they have a code and I pull out ten different shades of that one code.

i stopped by his shop today, hes got everything pretty well blocked out, he has some touch up to do here and there in a few spots but overall its looking really good. so far hes sanded down the car, layed down a self etch and an expoxy, lots of body work, a polyester primer, more filler and sanding, he said once hes done sanding and touching up he will probally lay one more filler, block it out, seal it, and be ready for paint. he said hes probally looking at tuesday/wednesday to spray the car.

Almost to afraid to drive it lol. Looks awsome

Can never be afraid to drive your cars. I was a service adviser at a motorsports shop for a short time and this guy would come in every year to buy the newest biggest CBR, and the first thing he'd do is take his key and run along up the fairing several inches. He reasoning was that he wouldn't be afraid of driving it like it was intended after him getting the first scratch out of the way. Not saying to go and scratch it when you first get it back, just a cool story, and trailer queens are boring

the paints so fucking shiny you cant even get a good picture of how good the paint is cause of the reflection............to sum it up in one word its AMAZING.

Paint job ended up costing me around 1000$ in materials and 4 straight labor intensive weekends of my time. Id say good trade....
