Bugeye
Im ok at it, i guess, but when you give me a cheap harbor freight welder with no heat adjustment, things can get a little scary...anyways had to replace teh floor in the 620. I was lazy and just butt welded it, I should have drilled pilot holes in it and welded them up, but thats what I am going to do with the roof repair as you can see it was almost Flinstone time I think I heard the 73 crying when I cut this off it here is the repair panel in place and here is my shitty attempt at welding, I have to wait for it to cool so I can clean it up and try to fix the tunnel side Quote Link to comment
420n620
welding over/on rust makes it harder. you need to sand blast the edges to clean metal so your welding will becum much easier. then it will be fun to weld--- yea right :D Quote Link to comment
Bugeye
 this was just a quick fix till i get the transmission into my sisters car, then the truck comes off the road and apart Quote Link to comment
