MikeRL411
Note, a generic problem with these late manufactured stamped steel body and brazed threaded section is that the braze fillet takes up too much space and the switch bottoms out and will not thread far enough into the brass brake fluid distribution fitting to properly seal. The two units shown have what appears to be the remnants of teflon tape [which you do not want to use on brake system fittings] and are used units which may indicate poor sealing of the threaded portion. RockAuto has Japanese manufactured solid machined brass switches which fit and seal properly and cost far less than $25 each. They are full dimension hex heads with sharp corners so the usual brake switch drive socket [one inch / inch and an eigth] and even most deep socket drives hang up on the corners, use an end wrench to torque down.
