fragginfags Posted March 21, 2013 Report Share Posted March 21, 2013 Ok, my default temperature gauge next to the speedo, has ceased working so i went out and bought one from SuperCheap, and its en electronic one but i am unable to find the threaded hole on my z24 engine to place the sensor any insite? datzenmike Posted March 21, 2013 Report Share Posted March 21, 2013 It will be somewhere on the thermostat housing below the top rad hose. Z cars sometimes have 4 or more 'senders' for various functions. Usually the wire colors are Yellow/White stripe. If you find the wire clean it and ground to the housing with the key on... the gauge should read full HOT if working. If nothing then the gauge is the problem. Quote Link to comment
