doughboi916 Posted March 19, 2013 Report Share Posted March 19, 2013 Whats Up fellow datsuners!! i need some help.. im not too sure what to do? i have a 71 510 im building.. its almost done and ready for the road... the problme is that the Title i got with the car was sighned and dated in 2006 from the original owner.. i bought it off a guy who bought it off the original owner with a sighned and dated bill of sale... im dumb and never regersterd it since it was a project.. what do i do know?? the car is lagit.. can i type up a fake bill of sale and register it that way?? the car was last registerd in 2003?? and im in California.. bonvo Posted March 19, 2013 Report Share Posted March 19, 2013 you have the title as long as its signed you by the original owner and you it shouldnt be an issue if its signed by the guy you bought it from take the bill of sale in with you you shouldnt have to much trouble they might request you get the vin verified which is just a matter of taking the car to a police station and have them check all the vin tags might cost you a little more cash then you would like but over all not as hard as people make it sound Quote Link to comment
