BEEBANI
O.K., so I'm getting very close (days) to getting myself a Z32 and was wondering where (sites) I might find information and advice on what to look for when buying one. I know there are inherit problems somewhere on these cars and would like to know in advance if they've been adressed or not on the car I'm buying. I will most likely be getting a na car, but there is a TT car that I might be able to afford. Quote Link to comment
kiznook
I hope you have tiny hands, because otherwise you're gonna have a hell of a time working on one. Quote Link to comment

Bleach
TT doubles your maintenance costs. http://www.twinturbo.net http://www.zcar.com http://www.zdriver.com I don't know much about specifics on those cars. They are made with a timing BELT. Make sure that gets replaced often. Premium fuel only, even on the NA cars. Quote Link to comment
BEEBANI
I signed up on Zdriver.com today, did some reading on what to look out for. Basically stay away from pre-'91 cars. Quote Link to comment
nismopu
They can be reliable if maintained well, however expect to be maintaining it quite often. Cramped engine bay means lots of heat and lots of components failing. I think we have removal of a tt engine down to 1.5hours? Something like that. peace. Quote Link to comment

That's what I read on there, the electrical components fail because of all the heat. They said the TT cars are even worse for heat. I've always wanted one of these cars, so we'll see what happens. More than likely I'll end up with a n/a car because of funds. Got approved for the loan today, so I should have a car by the weekend. Quote Link to comment
